Kristin Lenei
Owner, Stylist
With over 22 years in the beauty industry, Kristin is a master colorist and the owner of Haus of Pearl and Team Glam Detroit. Specializing in customized color, blonding, and gray blending, she is known for her speed, precision, and artistry—delivering flawless results in a fraction of the time. Kristin was a Tiffany Awards Colour Trophy nominee and has trained extensively with L’Oréal Professionnel, Redken, Kenra, Kerastase, Kevin Murphy, and Oribe.
Her signature approach to color emphasizes natural-looking dimension: keeping a base that complements the client’s skin tone while enhancing features through expertly placed balayage, money pieces, and babylights. She prioritizes both the health and length of the hair, ensuring every client leaves with luminous, wearable color that lasts.
Beyond the salon, Kristin’s work has appeared in Elle, People, Metro Detroit Weddings, and other national and regional publications. As the creative force behind Team Glam Detroit, she has styled countless brides and directed editorial shoots, bringing her eye for beauty and professionalism to every setting.
Kristin is passionate about making color both stunning and low-maintenance, especially for clients managing gray, and believes hair should always look polished, effortless, and tailored to the individual.
Carly
Stylist
With over 24 years of experience, Carly is a master colorist and stylist who specializes in advanced blonding, customized color, and precision haircuts. She especially loves creating layered cuts, short haircuts, and vivid color transformations, combining technical skill with artistry to bring out each client’s unique style.
Her career includes extensive education and advanced training, including work with the L’Oréal Academy educational team and years spent refining her craft at top metro Detroit salons. Carly continues to invest in her craft through ongoing classes and education, ensuring her clients always benefit from the latest techniques in coloring, cutting, and styling.
In addition to her salon work at Haus of Pearl, Carly is also a senior stylist with Team Glam Detroit, where she has styled hundreds of brides and bridal parties. She has directed hair and makeup for editorial photoshoots, fashion shows, music videos, and TV segments, bringing her artistry to both personal clients and high-profile creative projects.
Carly’s mission is simple: to help every client feel confident, radiant, and unforgettable.
Amanda
Stylist
Since 2009, Amanda has been blending modern color techniques with intentional, personalized care. She believes great hair starts with a great connection—every guest who sits in her chair is treated like a VIP.
She specializes in low-maintenance, lived-in color and various types of blonding. Education is her love language, and she stays up to date on the latest trends and products so her clients’ hair always feels fresh, healthy, and authentically them.
As a stylist at Haus of Pearl, Amanda thrives in an environment that allows her to create a relaxing experience while ensuring every guest leaves absolutely loving their hair.
Shelbi
Stylist, Make-Up Artist
With over a decade of experience in the hair industry, Shelbi Mazur combines artistry, precision, and care to create effortlessly beautiful results. Since entering the hair industry in 2011, that early spark has grown into a deep passion for helping others feel confident, comfortable, and cared for.
Shelbi specializes in bridal styling and makeup, dimensional color and balayage, fine and thinning hair, and precision razor cutting. Her goal is to ensure every client feels confident and at ease, leaving the salon with a look that enhances their natural beauty and fits seamlessly into their lifestyle.
She loves creating styles that not only look beautiful in the salon, but are easy to recreate at home—so every day can feel like a good hair day.
Baylee
Stylist, Extensions
With almost 6 years in the industry, Baylee has honed in with her craft in color and extensions. She is certified in the Habit Invisible Beaded Rows. Healthy hair and proper installs are her top priority with any client that sits in her chair. She also offers other methods such as K-tips and Tape-in’s to accommodate her client’s needs.
Every year, she strives to work on her craft and give her clients their dream hair with continued online and in-person education. While she has no “specialty” in the coloring department, she especially loves creating dimensional and bright blondes that stand the test of time. Whether it’s installing a new head of extensions and custom coloring them to make a seamless blend or a bouncy 90’s blowout, Baylee will put 100% into giving every client the hair that will make them feel like their most confident and beautiful self.
Nicole
Brows by Design, Licensed Permanent Makeup Artist
With nearly 9 years of experience as a business owner, Nicole Mickelson is a licensed permanent makeup artist, esthetician, and massage therapist. She holds more than 12 advanced certifications and has trained extensively with top artists across the United States, refining her craft and staying at the forefront of the industry.
Nicole specializes in Designer Brows—customized to every client for a truly tailored look—and hyper-realistic hair strokes, as well as eyeliner, lip blush, and all areas of cosmetic tattooing. Her artistry emphasizes natural, polished results that enhance each client’s features with precision and elegance.
Known for her meticulous technique and calming presence, Nicole creates a spa-like ambiance in every session, blending comfort with professionalism. Her mission is to deliver results that are not only beautiful but also long-lasting, ensuring every client leaves feeling confident, radiant, and authentically themselves.
